Project record
1.8 km of village road rebuilt with concrete surfacing, roadside drainage and two culverts.
Sherpur
100% complete
The Ward 7 connector road links Sherpur bazaar with four para settlements and the union health centre. Before the work, the earthen surface flooded for roughly four months each year, cutting off ambulance and school access.
The rebuilt road uses a 3.6 metre concrete carriageway with compacted shoulders, two box culverts and 900 metres of side drain to move monsoon water into the existing canal.
